The Mountain Home 12-year-old all-star baseball team won the Cal Ripken North Arkansas State Tournament over the weekend at Springdale. It is the third straight state championship for the team.
In the title game Sunday, Mountain Home defeated Blytheville 12-1. Mountain Home reached the championship by defeating Jonesboro 6-5 in the semifinals.
The Mountain Home 12-year-olds will now play in the 12-Year-Old World Series beginning August 2nd in Branson.
