Mtn. Home chamber of commerce award winners announced

     The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce will honor eight community members and businesses a this year’s awards banquet entitled “A Black and WHite Gala” to be held Friday evening from 6 until 8 at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of ASU-Mountain Home.

     This year’s winners are American Stitchco, the recipient of Outstanding Business or Industry; Workforce Development as the Outstanding non-profit organization; Mountain Home Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jake Long as Educator of the Year; Dr. Ray Stahl is the Medical Professional of the Year; the Spirit Award Winner is Jeff Quick, CEO of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas; Matt Wood of Holy Smokes Bar-B-Que is the Young Entrepreneur of the Year; the Jim Gaston “Friend of Tourism” Award recipient is Ricky Johnson and Tenille Rauls was chosen Volunteer of the Year.

     Tickets to the banquet are $30 per person or $300 for a reserved table of eight and may be purchased by calling 425-5111. Valet parking will be available that evening.
