The pop legend has been named the Grand Marshal of the 85th annual edition of the holiday event, which takes place on November 30 in Los Angeles.

The festivities will get underway at 5 p.m. PT with a special concert, which will be followed by the parade at 6 p.m. The event will be taped and will premiere as a two-hour special airing on The CW Network on December 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show also will be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel at a later date.

Erik Estrada, Laura McKenzie, Dean Cain and Montel Williams are among the celebrities who will serve as hosts for the 2016 Hollywood Christmas Parade, which is touted as “the largest Christmas celebration in America.” The event also will include a variety of as-yet-unannounced performers and entertainment personalities, along with marching bands from across the U.S., floats, balloons and, of course, a special appearance by Santa Claus.

To mark the parade’s 85th anniversary, a number of previous Grand Marshals will take part in the event. Proceeds raised by the event will benefit The Marine Toys For Tots Foundation.

Tickets for grandstand seats along the parade route are available now via Groupon and Ticketmaster.com.
