A one vehicle accident Thursday morning on State Route CC, six miles west of West Plains, has killed 28-year-old Robert Salamone of West Plains. According to Missouri State Trooper JM Heimsoth, Salamone’s vehicle was eastbound on State Route CC when it left the road, returned back and then overturned multiple times.
21-year-old Brandon Harto, also of West Plains, was a passenger in the vehicle and was flown by Air-Evac to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. No report on his condition is available.
Neither of the two men wear wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
