Robert Plant to Perform at Ex-Rolling Stone Bill Wyman's 80th Birthday Bash

Ed Miles/Nonesuch Records; Dave J Hogan/Dave J Hogan/Getty ImagesLed Zeppelin‘s Robert Plant has joined the star-studded lineup of musicians who will help former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman celebrate his 80th birthday at a special concert this fall in London. “Bill Wyman’s 80th Birthday Gala” will take place October 28 at the Indigo at the O2 venue as part of the 2016 edition of the U.K.’s annual BluesFest London.

Wyman and his longtime group The Rhythm Kings will headline the show, which also will feature Mark Knopfler, Simply Red frotnman Mick Hucknall, Bob Geldof, and Imelda May, as well as many yet-to-be-announced guests. The concert will include performances of songs that have influenced Wyman throughout his life.

Bill, who was a member of The Rolling Stones from 1962 to 1993, will celebrate his actual 80th birthday on October 24.
