Credit: Nela KoenigAfter recently hinting that he would be returning to Las Vegas for a new residency, John Fogerty now has confirmed his plans.

The founding Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman brings his John Fogerty: Fortunate Son In Concert show to the Wynn Las Vegas resort and casino’s Encore Theater for a total of 10 performances: five in March and five in May.

This will mark the first time that Fogerty will be performing at the Encore Theater, as his previous Vegas residencies took place at The Venetian Theatre in The Venetian Las Vegas hotel and casino in January and September-October of last year.

“Hail, hail rock and roll! Oh man, this is epic,” says Fogerty in a statement. “We’re hitting the road and bringing Fortunate Son to Wynn Las Vegas for the first time ever. I really couldn’t be more honored, excited, and thrilled. These shows will be a lot of fun.”

Tickets for the upcoming Las Vegas shows will go on sale Friday, January 6, at 10 a.m. PT, and will be available at the Wynn Las Vegas box office and at WynnLasVegas.com. The new performances are scheduled for March 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11, and May 19, 20, 24, 27 and 28.

During the Fortunate Son In Concert show, the 71-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer performs many CCR classics and solo gems, and shares stories about his long career while being accompanied by a multimedia presentation featuring archival footage and photos.
