The game was a pitcher’s duel between Giants’ ace Madison Bumgarner and Mets’ Noah Syndergaard, before Conor Gillaspie broke a scoreless tie with a three-run home run in the ninth inning off Mets closer Jeurys Familia.

The Giants will face the Cubs in the best-of-five National League Division Series, beginning on Friday in Chicago.
