SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Allen Staton hit a walk-off solo homer with one out in
the 11th inning, as the Springfield Cardinals beat the Northwest Arkansas
Naturals 4-3 on Thursday.
The Cardinals tied the game 3-3 when Blake Drake hit a two-run home run in the
seventh.
Staton homered and singled, also stealing a base in the win.
Kevin Herget (4-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Tim Hill
(2-2) took the loss in the Texas League game.
