Registered voters continue to take advantage of early voting across the Twin Lakes Area with high numbers reported from county clerks in Baxter, Marion and Izard County Tuesday.
Marion County and Izard County saw an increase in voters Tuesday with a total of 338 votes cast in Marion County, up by 54 from Monday and in Izard County 203 early votes were cast, an increase of 21 ballots cast over the first day of early voting.
The office of the Baxter County Clerk reported 924 votes cast Tuesday, down slightly from the 952 votes cast the day before. A spokesperson from the clerk’s office reports steady traffic all day with lines moving faster than the first day of early voting.

Early voting in the state will continue until Monday, November 7 at 5 p.m. In Baxter County, early voting is at the courthouse Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at Twin Lakes Plaza Monday through Friday from 10 am. to 4 p.m. Marion County and Fulton County voters can cast their ballots during the early ballots at their county courthouses Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fulton County will also have early voting in Mammoth Springs at Simmons Bank on Saturday, October 28 only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Izard County voters can vote early at Ozarka College in Melbourne Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early voting will also take place in Horseshoe Bend on November 3 and 4th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
