Credit: Travis ShinnLynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington and his wife, Dale Krantz-Rossington, have premiered an official video for the title track of their new collaborative album, Take It on Faith, which will be released this Friday, November 4. The song is a sentimental pop-rock ballad that showcases Dale’s deep, soulful voice and Gary’s acoustic slide guitar.

The clip features Dale at home as she pores over a collection of vintage photos of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Skynyrd spinoff group The Rossington Collins Band performing live, as well as candid pics of Gary and her over the years. The video, which you can watch at Loud & Proud Records’ official YouTube channel, also includes scenes of Gary playing a Dobro with a glass slide, both alone and with Dale as she sings and plays piano.

As previously reported, the couple will release the album under the moniker Rossington. Take It on Faith features 12 tracks, including a tune called “Good Side of Good” that ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons co-wrote. The record also boasts contributions from a variety of guest musicians, among them including blues-rock veteran Delbert McClinton, late Little Feat drummer Richie Hayward, one-time Fleetwood Mac singer Bekka Bramlett, late Black Oak Arkansas guitarist Jack Holder and ex-Double Trouble keyboardist Reese Wynans.

Prior to beginning her long tenure as a backing vocalist for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dale played with Gary in The Rossington Collins Band and The Rossington Band.
