Trunk or Treat set for Saturday at L.C. Sammons Youth Center

     The Mountain Home Parks and Recreation Department presents its annual event leading up to Halloween this weekend. Trunk or Treat is scheduled for Saturday evening from six to nine at L.C. Sammons Youth Center.

     Program Coordinator Enoch Pepin says Trunk or Treat always provides a fun outing for kids and their families.

     Several events are part of Trunk or Treat including candy sponsors giving candy out, youth center inflatables, face tattoos, a haunted trail, hayrides, a campfire, a pumpkin carving contest, a costume contest, door prizes and free hot dogs and popcorn provided by Bear State Bank. In addition, Movie in the Park is new to Trunk or Treat as the feature film will be “Hotel Transylvania.” According to Pepin, Bear State Bank is also sponsoring the movie after they came up with the idea.
