Volleyball, basketball and cross country make up the local Tuesday schedule.

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team begins action in the Class 6A State Tournament at Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy. The Lady Bombers will have the nightcap as their first opponent will be Sheridan.

Mountain Home comes into the match as the third-seeded team from the East with a record of 21-10. The Lady Yellowjackets are the number six seed out of the South.

Mountain Home head coach Lindsey Leonard says the Lady Bombers will have to go through some tough competition in their quest for a state title, but her team’s main concentration needs to be on their own game.
