Twin Lakes Thunder Rally, a two day event for bikers, non-bikers and families, will be held Friday and Saturday at the Baxter county Fairgrounds. The event is free and will feature music, games, trick or treating, a bike show and beer garden, which opens each day at 11 a.m.
Friday’s activities begin with a photo scavenger hunt from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; a Buffalo City Ride in the afternoon from 1 to 5; a bike parade through Mountain Home at 5:30 in the evening and music from Crossfire, beginning at 8 p.m., closes the day’s activities.
A Push Mountain Ride begins at 11 a.m. and a road kill pick up will take place from 2 to 3 in the afternoon. A bicycle contest for children will be held at 3 p.m. followed by Trick or Treat with the bikers at 4. The bike show runs from 4 to 6 with winners announced at 7 in the evening. Music by Scattered beginning at 8 p.m. ends the day’s activities.
All proceeds from Twin Lakes Thunder Rally will benefit Alpha House Men’s Shelter in Mountain Home.
