The United States Postal Service is expanding retail hour and package delivery services in the Twin Lakes Area. Offices in Mountain Home will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and in Harrison from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through December 24. These offices will provide full retail services, including stamp sales and package acceptance on Saturdays.
To have mail and packages delivered by Christmas, the postal service recommends the following deadlines December 9 for military APO/FPO/DPO Priority mail and APO/FPO first class mail; December 15 for domestic retail ground; December 16 for military APO/FPO/DPO priority mail express; December 20 for first class mail, including cards and letters; December 21 for priority mail and December 23 for priority mail express.
