Two Cotter men were arrested Tuesday on multiple felony drug charges following a two month joint investigation by the Cotter, Flippin and Mountain Home Police Departments, the Arkansas State Police and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force. Cotter Police Chief Donald Rogers says 59 year old Grover C. Fitzpatrick the Third and 43 year old Robert Wayne Hadley are being held in the Baxter County jail.
Fitzpatrick is charged with two counts of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, methamphetamine; delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of meth with purpose to deliver; possession of psilocybin mushrooms and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond is set at $100,000
Robert Wayne Hadley is charged with seven counts of delivery of a controlled substance; possession of meth with purpose to deliver; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of unlawful use of a communication device and distribution near certain facilities. Bond for Hadley was set at $25,000.
According to Chief Rogers, a total of 178.5 grams of suspected meth, with a street value of $14,575, were purchased or seized during the investigation which included search warrants being executed at the Cotter residences of both Fitzgerald and Hadley.
In March of this year, Hadley was arrested on five felony drug charges similar to charges filed against him Thursday.
