Watch Joan Jett, Sammy Hagar and Bette Midler Make Their Debut as Advisers This Week on “The Voice”

Trae Patton/NBCThis week marks the start of the Battle Rounds on the popular singing-competition series The Voice, which means that the show’s celebrity advisers also will be making their first appearance, including Joan Jett, ex-Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar and legendary singer/actress Bette Midler.

Jett will be helping to advise the contestants on Miley Cyrus‘ team, Hagar will be helping the singers on Adam Levine‘s team and Midler will mentor Blake Shelton‘s group of competitors.

Along with Jett, Hagar and Midler, young pop singer/songwriter Charlie Puth will be advising Alicia Keys‘ team.

The Battle Rounds feature two contestants from the same team performing onstage at the same time, with the singers’ coach tasked to choose one to remain in the competition. The singer who isn’t chosen in a Battle Round also be saved by on of the other coaches.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
