A West Plains man suffered moderate injury Sunday when his ATV overturned on Forest Service Road 4148 about 12 miles north of Alton. According to a report from Missouri State Trooper T.D. Pond, 49-year-old Allen Hackworth was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains with moderate injuries.
The 5:30 p.m. accident occurred as Hackworth was backing a 2003 Kawasaki Prairie ATV up an embankment when it overturned.
