The top-ranked Crimson Tide rolled to a 51-3 win over Mississippi State, but three of the top four in the College Football Playoff rankings all lost. Number two Clemson dropped a tight 43-42 decision to Pittsburgh, Michigan lost a slugfest, 14-13, at Iowa, and fourth-ranked Washington lost 26-13 against USC.

The new CFP rankings won’t come out until Tuesday, but the AP and Coaches Polls have been updated. In each poll, Ohio State jumped up to the number two spot, while Louisville jumps in at number three and Michigan clings to playoff hopes with the fourth spot.

Clemson drops to five in both polls, with Washington slipping to seventh.
