The Flippin Fireworks Festival will be today, starting at noon. There will be all kinds of music, contest, concessions, and fun activities. There is no admission to the park for this event.

The VFW #3246 and Ladies Auxiliary on 7th Street in Mountain Home will host a Roast Beef Dinner tonight, from 4:30 to 6:30. Members and Guest are welcome. Donations are $7.50 per person.

The Repertory Theatre of the Ozarks will present Larry Price and Friends tonight at 7:30, at the former Oregon County Country Music Theater in Thayer. Tickets are $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for students, and children 5 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door.

In addition to their regular weekday schedule, the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce Tourist Information Center will be open Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 to 3:00, until September 7th.
The MO/ARK Pullers and Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association will have a Fourth of July celebration tomorrow at the Industrial Park in Thayer. The chainsaw cutting contest and car show both start at 10:00 a.m., the Garden Tractor Pull and the Antique and Classic Farm Tractors Pulls both start at 11:00, and fireworks will be at dusk.
