Help available for those dealing with high cost of insulin

For Americans dealing with diabetes, the cost of insulin continues to skyrocket, causing some patients to skip doses or ration their medicine. NBC News recently had a story about a man who died because he tried to ration his insulin because he couldn’t afford it.

Jodi Bodenhamer is the Diabetes Education Coordinator at the Reppell Diabetes Learning Center at Baxter Health in Mountain Home. She joined Brad Haworth during the news at 7 Wednesday morning to talk about what patients can do who are dealing with the high cost of insulin.
