Items added to Mountain Home City Council agenda

Two items of business have been added to the agenda for the Mountain Home City Council’s meeting Thursday evening at 6:00.

City Clerk Brian Plumlee advises an ordinance will be presented to wave competitive bidding and authorize the purchase of contractor services for emergency installation of a 16-inch insta-valve. The installation will allow repair of a leak on the water distribution system.

In addition, authorization will be requested to allow the purchase of the valve and contracting services to be paid from the capital repair/replace fund.

Six other items of business are on the agenda under old business. Four of the six items are requests for transfer of funds to new line items. The other two items of business are a request to approve an auction list and an ordinance directing and ordering the removal or razing of a building located at 213 Russell Lane.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Municipal Building.
