ABC/Image Group LA Out of all eight songs he’s sent to the top of the chart so far, Eric Church’s latest number one, “Some of It,” has taken the longest time to get there.
This week, “Some of It” tops Billboard’s Country Airplay tally after 29 weeks, second only to “Record Year,” which took 26 weeks back in 2016.
The Chief celebrated his very first chart-topper, “Drink in My Hand,” back in January of 2012.
“Some of It” is the second single from Eric’s Desperate Man album, which debuted atop the country albums chart last October. The title track made it to #8 on the Hot Country Songs ranking that same month.
