    - CASA volunteers are Court Appointed Special Advocates who are specially trained to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the foster care system.

- CASA volunteers are advocates, appointed by the courts, to offer judges critical information needed to ensure children in the rights and needs of children in the foster care system are being met.

- A CASA volunteer is a familiar face for a child in foster care; an adult who can make knowledgeable recommendations to the court on behalf of the child until they are returned to their parents or placed in a permanent home.

- CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, is a nationwide network of volunteers who provide a voice for children in foster care.

- CASA volunteers are specially trained adult volunteers assigned by a judge to be an advocate for children in the foster cares system.

- CASA volunteers are ordinary adults who care about children and are willing to devote 10 to 15 hours a month to be an advocate for a child in the foster care system.
