The Mountain Home Education Foundation's Night of Honors is undergoing a major change. Mollie Morgan, executive director of the Education Foundation, says the Foundation's board has decided to move the Night of Honors from its traditional date in February to October so it will coincide with homecoming. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event which celebrates the accomplishments of Mountain Home graduates and teachers who are inducted into the district's Hall of Honor.
Morgan says the deadline for nominations for the Night of Honors was November 15th. With this year's event moving from February to October 24th, she says the 2013 inductees will be announced sometime in late March or early April. Nominations for the 2014 Night of Honors will be accepted next fall.
