Hunter education course to be offered in Mountain Home

     The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will offer another hunter education course to the Twin Lakes Area next weekend. The course will be held Saturday, October 5th, from 8:00 to 5:30 at the Game and Fish office on Fifth Street in Mountain Home.
     Several subjects will be covered including conservation, sportsmanship, archery, muzzleloading, survival, first aid, and firearms safety. The course is free of charge and mandatory for anyone born on or after January 1st, 1969, to legally hunt in Arkansas. Individuals must attend the class and successfully complete a written examination to receive a hunter education graduate card.
