Public invited to annual knappin event in Cotter

     The annual White River Knappin will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the White River Campground and Cottages in Cotter.   The public is welcome to attend the free three day event and watch knappers from across the Ozarks who will be demonstrating the art of knappin and sharing its history from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Knappin is the historic art of shaping stone arrowheads, spear points and other tools from flint and other stones.
