A Bexar man arrested on felony drug charges in Izard County earlier this month and a Cotter woman arrested in Baxter County recently on drug charges have been arrested by Mountain Home Police. Nineteen year old Jaycob Luke Anderson and 38 year old Lisa D. Pederson were arrested Thursday on charges of delivery of methamphetamine, delivery of a controlled substance hydrocodone, possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Anderson is being held in the Baxter County Jail on $250,000 bond. Pederson was released from the jail after posting $10,000 bond.
Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says the arrest of Anderson and Pederson followed a joint investigation by his department and the Arkansas State Police into drug activity.
Anderson was arrested October 3rd following a traffic stop in Calico Rock where he was charged with possession with intent to deliver; possession of methamphetamine and oxycodone; possession of drug paraphernalia; simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and three misdemeanor charges. He was released from the Izard County Jail on October 6 after posting $100,000 bond.
Pederson was arrested by Baxter County Sheriff's deputies in late September on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, six counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor fleeing. She was released from the Baxter County jail after posting $10,000 bond and $5,00 on a Marion County warrant.
