THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LITTLE ROCK HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LIGHT SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. A WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO NOON CST MONDAY. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON MONDAY TO 6 AM CST TUESDAY.
 
EVENT...OCCASIONAL LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. VERY COLD AND WINDY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP.
   
TIMING...SCATTERED LIGHT SNOW WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH IN CONVERAGE AND INTENSITY THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON.
 
IMPACTS...UP TO ONE ADDITIONAL INCH OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE BEFORE EVENING. WIND CHILL VALUES OF -10 DEGREES TO -20 DEGREES CAN BE EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT.

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...AREAS OF DRIZZLE...LIGHT RAIN AND LIGHT
  FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE TO TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW FROM
  WEST TO EAST OVERNIGHT. ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE
  POSSIBLE BY DAYBREAK.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...THE WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN
  EFFECT FOR AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF THE HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR FROM
  TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON. SNOW SHOULD BEGIN TO
  DEVELOP OVERNIGHT AND MAY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH SUNDAY
  MORNING.

THE WIND CHILL WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...TOTAL STORM ACCUMULATIONS OF 7 TO 9 INCHES
  WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS UP TO 10 INCHES ARE EXPECTED EAST OF THE
  HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 60. AMOUNTS OF 4 TO 7
  INCHES ARE EXPECTED ALONG THE HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR AND SOUTH OF
  HIGHWAY 60 IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...SUSTAINED NORTH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH
  WITH GUSTS OVER 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
  MUCH OF SUNDAY. THIS WILL CREATE NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AT
  TIMES...ESPECIALLY EAST OF THE HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR. VISIBILITIES
  WILL OFTEN BE REDUCED TO AROUND A QUARTER MILE.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...WIND CHILLS WILL FALL INTO THE SINGLE
  DIGITS BELOW ZERO SUNDAY MORNING AND THEN FALL INTO THE MINUS 20
  TO MINUS 30 BELOW ZERO RANGE FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY
  MONDAY MORNING. AIR TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE 0 TO MINUS
  10 DEGREE RANGE BY MONDAY MORNING...WITH THE COLDEST READINGS
  ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY SNOW...BLOWING AND DRIFTING
  SNOW...AND BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS ACROSS THE REGION FROM LATER TONIGHT INTO
  SUNDAY. THIS INCLUDES STATE HIGHWAYS 54...60...63...AND 13...
  ALONG WITH INTERSTATE 44. DANGEROUSLY COLD CONDITIONS WILL THEN
  PERSIST THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK.

CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.  SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF
SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN
AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...CONSIDER TAKING A WINTER STORM
KIT ALONG WITH YOU. THIS KIT SHOULD INCLUDE SUCH ITEMS AS TIRE
CHAINS...BOOSTER CABLES...A FLASHLIGHT...SHOVEL...BLANKETS...
EXTRA CLOTHING AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD HELP YOU SURVIVE IN
CASE YOU BECOME STRANDED.
