Tuesday's basketball results



Cotter's senior high teams were swept at home by Flippin.
In the boys' game, the Warriors were beat up by the Bobcats 60-39. Dean Smyser led Flippin with 12 points. The Bobcats improve to 23-9 on the season.
Cotter did not fare any better in the girls' contest as they were routed by Flippin 75-32. The Lady Bobcats are now 20-10 on the year.

It was a battle between Panthers as Norfork swept a pair of games over Yellville-Summit.
Norfork was all over Yellville-Summit in the boys' game 82-49. Norfork was led by A.J. Saldana with 23 points, Travis Lewis scored 17, Brendan Casey had 13, and Chris Lewis added 11. Norfork's record is now 23-9.
The girls' game was also one-sided as Norfork pounded Yellville-Summit 69-35. Easton Massey was Norfork's leading scorer with 27 points, Abbie Belding finished with 21, and Cheyenne Acklin chipped in 12.
Norfork will travel to Jasper on Friday.

Bruno-Pyatt came away with one win as they hosted three games against St. Joe.
The Patriots' lone victory was in the senior boys' game as they defeated the Wildcats 58-49. Allen Holtby paced Bruno-Pyatt with 23 points, Dillon Kidder scored 17, and Justin Burkitt ended up with 11. For St. Joe, Brady Willis had 19 points.
It was a different result in the senior girls' contest as Bruno-Pyatt lost to St. Joe 57-23. The Lady Wildcats were led by Rose Taylor with 19 points, Cortney Mills scored 13, and Brittany Gonzales added 11.
Bruno-Pyatt also lost to St. Joe 32-8 in the junior girls' game.
St. Joe's junior teams will play in the 1A-1 East District Tournament in Omaha on Wednesday.
