Two Flippin residents arrested on drug charges

Two Flippin residents were arrested on drug charges following a month long joint investigation by the Flippin Police Department and Marion County Sheriff's Office.   Flippin Police Chief Dusty Smith says 20 year old Ezra Jones is charged with unlawful distribution of pseudoephedrine and delivery of marijuana.   He also had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation.   Also arrested was 21 year old Jonathon Stuebinger who was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.   Bond for Jones was set at $2,630 for the probation violation and $2,500 for the new charges.   He remains in the Marion County jail pending appearance in Marion County Circuit Court.   Stuebinger was released from custody after posting $895 bond.
Chief Smith says during the investigation, law enforcement officers made controlled purchases of pseudoephedrine and marijuana from Jones.   Monday, Jones was located during a traffic stop and Stuebinger, who was with Jones, was found to be in possession of pot.   Both were arrested without incident.
