BXCO man faces new charges of forgery

A Baxter County man currently being held in the Baxter County jail on forgery charges now faces additional felony charges for the same offense.   Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says 32 year old Lonnie Michael Tolliver has been charged with four more counts of forgery and four misdemeanor counts of theft of property.   Tolliver's bond has been set at $100,000 on the new charges.   In early February he was charged with four counts of forgery and criminal possession of a forgery device.   Bond on those charges was also set at $100,000.
The newest charges against Tolliver stem from an investigation into $20 counterfeit bills being passed at a Salesville business; one on January 10th and three more on February 2.   Video surveillance from the store identified Tolliver as the suspect.   Sheriff Montgomery says Tolliver admitted to investigators from his office and the Arkansas State Police of using a printer to make approximately $100 in face $20 bills, each with the same serial number.
Lonnie Michael Tolliver is set to appear in circuit court Thursday.
