Lucille Soltysik of rural Mountain Home is seeking a second term for the District 2 seat she currently holds on the Baxter County Quorum Court. District 2 covers a large area of north Baxter County from Mountain Home to the Missouri line, west to Marion County and east to Lake Norfork. It includes the communities of Clarkridge, Three Brothers, Arkana and Midway.
Soltysik said she will continue to promote better valuable resources for the betterment of Baxter County and the Mountain Home area. She indicated she will continue to represent the citizens in the District 2 area and their needs.

As a fire chief of the Oakland/Promiseland Volunteer Fire Department, Soltysik said the rural fire departments are crucial to the area.
Soltyski has been a firefighter for 14 years and has served as fire chief for four years. She is the secretary/treasurer of the Baxter and Marion County Fire Chief's Association.
