Gassville woman arrested on felony charges by Mtn. Home police

A Gassville woman was arrested on a felony warrant out of Baxter County following a traffic stop by Mountain Home Police Officer Rodney Villiger.   Thirty-four year old Michellenda Dawn Carlisle is charged with theft by receiving and obstructing governmental operations.   She is being held in the Baxter County jail on $2,770 bond.
According to Villiger, he initiated a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle while looking for a runaway juvenile.   When questioned by Villiger, Carlisle, who was a passenger in the back seat of the vehicle, gave a fictitious name and could not produce identification.   When Carlisle admitted her true identity, it was discovered a warrant had been issued for her arrest.
