Norfork students receive AYAA awards

Norfork art students received the following awards at the Arkansas Young Artist Competition held at the State Convention Center in Little Rock, AR, on Monday. There were 1204 students across the state that participated in this years’ competition where each student could submit up to 5 pieces of artwork.

12th Grade: Jami Barnett – 2nd Place, Oils Realistic
Scholarship – College of Memphis
11th Grade: Amber Staples – 1st Place, Watercolor Realistic
2nd Place, Charcoal Abstract
2nd Place, Fiber Arts
4th Place, On-site All Color Dry Media
11th Grade: Brittany Kocka – 3rd Place Colored Pencil, Abstract
11th Grade: Larren Wilkins – 4th Place Pastels Realistic
11th Grade: Miranda Vanlandingham – Honorable Mention, 2-D Mixed Media Abstract
11th Grade: Kerrigan Carter – Honorable Mention, Fiber Arts
