Flippin police arrest two on felony pot charges

    A home visit by Flippin police and the Arkansas Department of Community Correction led to the arrest of a man and woman after authorities discovered a quantity of marijuana at the residence. Arrested were 45-year old Michael Hill and 35-year old Amber Combs, both of Flippin.
    Flippin Police Chief Dusty Smith said during the visit officers located marijuana with a street value of approximately $800 and items related to the sale of marijuana.
    Both Michael Hill and Amber Combs are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
    Hill posted a $5,000 bond and is awaiting appearance in Marion County Circuit Court. Amber Combs is being held in the Marion County Jail. There is a parole hold on her.
    Chief Smith said the Marion County Sheriff's Department assisted with the investigation.
