Three Izard County residents and a Missouri man have been arrested in three separate incidents on felony drug charges. Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence says 32 year old Hubert Eugene Seals of Scott, Missouri is being held in the Izard County jail without bond following his June 1 arrest on charges of possession of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental operations and driving on a suspended license. A Missouri hold was placed on Seals following his June 1 arrests, according to Sheriff Lawrence.
Two Dolph men, Clinton William Young and Matthew Sutterfield, were arrested on felony drug charges following a traffic stop June 1. Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence says Young and Sutterfield were released from the Izard County jail after each posting $10,000 bond.
During the traffic stop the driver, Young, was found to have a hypodermic needle in his possession and Sutterfield had a clear bag containing a substance suspected to be methamphetamine in his pocket. Another bag containing suspected meth was found under the driver's seat.
Clinton William Young was charged with possesion of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Matthew Sutterfield was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Twenty-one year old Christopher John Frey of Brockwell remains in the Izard County jail on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and third degree battery. Frey was arrested on May 25.
