Roger Waters has released a clip from his upcoming concert film Us + Them, featuring him performing a song from Pink Floyd‘s classic 1977 album Animals.

In the clip, previewed on the Prog website, Waters performs “Pigs (Three Different Ones).”  As he sings the words, “Big man, pig man/Ha, ha, charade you are,” a video screen behind him shows a picture of Donald Trump, with the word “CHARADE” across his face.

As previously reported, Us + Them will premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, which runs from August 28 through September 7.  It’ll then be screened in theaters worldwide on October 2 and October 6.

The film was shot during Waters’ four-night stand at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome last June, during his 2017-2018 Us + Them tour.  It was co-directed by Waters and Sean Evans.

In a statement, Waters said of the film, “US + THEM is not standard rock and roll fare: Some in the audience may ‘yee haaaa!!!’ Which is ok, but many will weep. That is what I hope for.”

“US + THEM is a call to action,” he added, noting, “Homo Sapiens stand at a crossroads.”

“We can either pool our love, develop our capacity to empathize with others and act collectively for the good of our planet, or we can remain Comfortably Numb, and continue, like blind lemmings, on our current omnicidal death march towards extinction,” he continued. “US + THEM is a vote for love and life.”
