Myrtle Wood Chamberlain of Mountain Home (Roller)

     Funeral services for well-known civic leader and area booster Myrtle Wood Chamberlain will be Saturday afternoon at 2 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Visitation of Myrtle Wood Chamberlain will be Friday at Roller's from noon to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8.
     Myrtle Wood Chamberlain was a former real estate office owner. She was instrumental in helping revive and sponsor the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on the courthouse square. Several years ago the special program was renamed in her honor and is now known as the Myrtle Wood Chamberlain Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
     Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice of the Ozarks.
