Calico Rock FFA Alumni Hosts "A Black Tie Affair"

With over 140 students, guests, and chaperones in attendance, the 2010 Calico Rock High School Winter Formal kicked off the year in great style on Saturday, January 2, 2010. The event, “A Black Tie Affair,” was hosted by the Calico Rock FFA Alumni.
After a short program recognizing the FFA Alumni officers and the CRHS FFA program, students were treated to music, lights, and special effects by The Boogiemen of Mtn. Home.
At the conclusion of the evening, the Winter Royalty was announced. Student voting determined the following winners: 7th Grade Royalty-Jenna Stanley and Darby Ketron; 8th Grade Royalty-Kerrigan Cook and Caleb McClain; Freshman Royalty-Makayla Champion and Dylan Hamby; Jr. High Princess and Prince-Rachel Bishop and Jonathon Trotter; Sophomore Royalty-Rylie Bevill and Jacob Whitfield; Junior Royalty-Hannah Adcock and Joe Caul; Senior Royalty-Olivia Taylor and Jaden Whitfield; Sr. High Queen and King-Kylie Long and Zach Taylor.
“The Winter Formal will most definitely be remembered as a highlight of the 2009-2010 school year,” proclaimed Casey Cragle, CRHS FFA president. “We would like to thank the FFA Alumni for all the work it took to make this an event we will never forget.”
