Yellville-Summit basketball homecoming

     The Yellville-Summit Panthers will face the Bergman Panthers Friday night for their homecoming basketball games. The presentation of the homecoming court will begin at 5:00 prior to the senior boy’s game at 5:30.
     The homecoming court includes seniors Katrina Lowery, Samantha Johnson, and Alyssa Williams. Katrina is the daughter of Roger Lowery and Jim and Cindy Collins. She is involved in FBLA, FCA, NHS, Rotary Interact, Student Council, Victory Independent Baptist Church, Senior High Basketball Team, Varsity Volleyball Team, Baseball Manager, Drama Club, and was voted “Best All Around” by the Senior Class. Katrina will be escorted at the pep rally by Senior Joseph Brent Martin and Junior Jarod Jefferson. Joseph is the son of Tawnya and Chester Cape. Jarod is the son of Bryan and Tammie Jefferson. Samantha Johnson is the daughter of Steven and Dana Johnson. She is involved in Rotary Interact, NHS, the Senior Class President, Vice-President of FBLA, Co-Editor of Yel-Kat, and was voted “Most Likely To Succeed” by the Senior Class. Samantha will be escorted by Sophomore Lucas Lippeck and Sophomore Whit Davenport. Lucas is the son of Stefan Lippeck and Julia Bahners. Lucas is also the son of his American Host Family, Stacy and Valerie Davenport. Whit is the son of Stacy and Valerie Davenport. Alyssa Williams is the daughter of Harold and Debbie Williams. She is involved in German Club, Yearbook, Talent Search, Historia for FBLA, and Trap Shooting Team. Alyssa will be escorted by Senior Bailey Burleson and Sophomore Caleb Horton. Bailey is the son of John and Deanna Burleson. Caleb is the son of Daniel and Tracy Still.
Junior maids are Kaylee Hooper and Karissa Caststeel. Kaylee is the daughter of Keith and Beverly Akins. She is involved in FBLA, FCA, NHS, Rotary Interact, Church on the Rock, YOTR, and Senior High Basketball Team. Kaylee will be escorted by Austin Pemberton. Austin is the son of Shane and Darla Davenport and Bryan Pemberton. Karissa Caststeel is the daughter of Teresa and Chris Caststeel. She is involved in the Senior High Basketball Team, the Junior Varsity Volleyball Team, RLBA, FBLA, FCA, NBHA, and Drama. Karissa will be escorted by Senior Bailey Burleson. Bailey is the son of John and Deanna Burleson.
Sophomore maids are Deserea Beck and Mekenzie Hada. Deserea Beck is the daughter of Chester Beck and Patricia Cole. She is involved in FCCLA, FBLA, FCA, and German Club. Deserea will be escorted by Sophomore, Jacob Mathis. Jacob is the son of Rick Mathis and Nancy Suehla. Mekenzie Hada. is the daughter of Duane and Marlene Hada. She is involved in National Honor Society, Yell-kat Newspaper, President of FCCLA, President of the Sophomore Class, Drum Major of the High School Band, Historian of the German Club, New Hope Baptist Church, Varsity Volleyball team, and Trapshooting team. Mekenzie will be escorted by Junior Billy Dromgoole. Billy is the son of Darryl Dromgoole.
Freshmen maids are Sidney Jones and Torrie Weaver. Sidney is the daughter of Steve and Shelli Jones. She is involved in FBLA, FCA, Softball, Volleyball, Band, South Shore Youth Leadership, and Student Council. Sidney will be escorted by Junior Jesse Shefdore. Jesse is the son of Kevin Shefdore and Sharlene Brewer. Torrie is the daughter of Tawnya Weaver. She is involved in FCCLA, FBLA, FCA, South Shore Leadership, Talent Search, Junior High Basketball Team, Junior High Track Team, and Varsity Volleyball Team. Torrie will be escorted by Junior Sawyer Allen. Sawyer is the son of Tony and Shelly Allen.
