MH nine year olds win state baseball title

     Congratulations to the Mountain Home nine year old baseball all-star team which won the North Arkansas State Tournament over the weekend in Jonesboro. The team beat Bentonville Gold and and Van Buren in pool play. In bracket play, the defeated Tri-County and Bentonville Gold. In the title game, the topped Blytheville 9-6.
     The Mountain Home nine year old all-stars will now compete in the Southeast Regional Tournament July 19th through the 22nd in Vancleave, Mississippi. They are raising funds for the trip. Anyone who would like to donate is asked to call head coach Denny Hoover at 656-1361.
