Bomber plane to visit Harrison

Fly Arkansas, LLC announces they will have a very special visitor at the Boone County Airport in Harrison tomorrow. The Commemorative Air Force, Gulf Coast Wing, will be stopping at Harrison with their B-17G, N7227C a.k.a. “Texas Raiders”. The aircraft is expected to arrive at approximately noon on tomorrow. The crew will be refueling in Harrison and continuing to Rantoul, IL on their way to this year’s Oshkosh event. Please respect the aircraft and understand that the general public is welcome to come out and take pictures. As a reminder, the general public is not allowed airside, but will be welcome in the Boone County Airline Terminal to view the aircraft. The aircraft does have a time schedule to keep, but you can take pictures!
