The 2009-2010 class of the Twin Lakes Adult Leadership Network graduated recently. The class, comprised of ten area professionals, completed the ten-month program that ran August 2009-May 2010. The program is designed to give participants an in-depth education on the community where they live and work, as well as training in teamwork, communication and leadership skills. The class also completed a required project. They recreated the children’s meeting room at the Division of Human Services building. This room serves foster children and their biological parents. The group painted, cleaned, added cabinetry and re-stocked the room.

The class consisted of Dianne Beaman with NWACDC-Arkansas Workforce Department, Bobbi Brown with Baxter Regional Medical Center, Kolette Cochran with North Arkansas Electric Cooperative, Melissa Drewry-Student, Lacey Johnson with Baxter Healthcare, Noel Morris with Arvest Bank, John Reding with First National Bank & Trust, Canda Reese formerly with Good Samaritan Society Mtn Home, Misti Sims with Baxter Healthcare and Theressa Walker with Arkansas State University-Jonesboro.

Leadership 2010-2011 begins in August with fourteen available spots. If you are interested in participating, contact Leadership Coordinator and Marketing Director, Susannah Alms, at the Chamber of Commerce, 870-425-5111.
