The Mountain Home Fire Department recently donated a 1958 Ford Engine “Old Engine 3” to The Buford Community Volunteer Fire Department. The 1958 Ford pumper was the second fire truck purchase by the Mountain Home Fire Department. The Old Engine 3 was replaced with a 2003 E-One Typhoon pumper. Since 2003 the old Engine 3 has spent time serving the Cotter / Gassville area along with the Tracy Area and Buford Fire Districts. Fire Chief Ken Williams officially handed over the keys to the Buford Volunteer Fire department June 21, 2010.
