Another local standout athlete has made the decision to continue his career in college. Izard County High School senior Trenton Hatman signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Crowley's Ridge College in Paragould.
Hatman is coming off a season in which he averaged 25.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for the Cougars. His season high in scoring came in the NEA Tournament at Jonesboro in December where he poured in 44 points against Augusta. While playing for the Pioneers, Hatman plans to pursue a degree in coaching.
Trenton is the son of Kelly and Eve Hatman.
