Eight building permits were issued by the city of Mountain Home during the month of July with a total contracted value of nearly $309,000, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home Building Inspection Department.
Permits for commercial remodels were issued to Rajshri Chopra for Pizza Inn located at 1127 Highway 62 East and Steve Martinez Construction for Knox Orthopedics at #3 Medical Plaza.
A permit for residential new construction was issued to Dale Hershberger/Dunnright Construction Company for a residential duplex at 1302 and 1312 Wilshire Court with a construction value of $200,000.
One carport permit was issued to Debra Thairmueller Johnson for a carport at 510 East 7th Street and a sign permit was issued to DiJohn Design for a wall sign at Nature’s Way Cafe at 12 East 7th Street.
Cost of permits issued for the month of April totaled $2,324 including $861 for building permits, $170 for electric permits, $225 for mechanical permits, $328 for plumbing permits and $740 for mowing fees.
The city Building and Inspection Department handled 83 inspections during the month.
