A Midway man has been charged in the burglary of a local car dealership from where authorities say he stole a 2009 Dodge Avenger.
Arkansas State Police and Baxter County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Car Mart in Mountain Home over the weekend after a burglary alarm was received and discovered the door had been shattered with a piece of cinder block. Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says 37-year-old Christopher Richard Jorsch was developed as a suspect after video surveillance from the business revealed his identity.
Surrounding law enforcement agencies were notified and Christopher Jorsch was apprehended in Fulton County a short time later.
Baxter County Sheriff's Investigators are obtaining a bench warrant charging Jorsch with felony commercial burglary, felony theft of property, three counts felony breaking or entering and criminal mischief.
Once released from custody in Fulton County, Jorsch will be transported to the Baxter County Detention Facility where his bond will be $30,000.
Fulton County is said to have charges against Jorsch as well.
