A Calico Rock man is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center for theft of an all terrain vehicle as well as changing the vehicle’s VIN number.
According to court records, 23-year-old Chase Loosey was identified as a suspect after a Norfork resident reported the theft of a 4-wheeler from his home.
The victim, after asking around, learned a 4-wheeler matching the description was purchased by an area resident. It was discovered the VIN number of the 4-wheeler had been changed to match the one on the title used in the transaction.
Loosey’s bond is $15,823. He is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court.
