An Ozark County woman was involved in a single-vehicle accident Saturday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Rosand Edwards of Gainesville was transported by aircraft to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains with moderate injuries.
Edwards was traveling westbound on Ozark County Road 522 ten miles southeast of Gainesville. She lost control of her vehicle, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck multiple trees and overturned.
A spokesperson at Ozarks Medical Center says Edwards was treated for her injuries and released. She was not wearing a safety device.
Edwards’ vehicle was totaled in the 8:58 a.m. accident.
