The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in an unsolved case.
According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, on March 24, 2015, the owner of Two Rivers Fly Shop located at 13718 Hwy. 5 South in Norfork, reported the theft of a boat and trailer. The 2014 Hog Island SW 16 Skiff was valued at $9,200. It was on a Cherokee brand aluminum trailer.
The suspects cut a cable that was securing the boat to the front of the business.
The case is inactive due to lack of suspects and evidence. Those who have information on the theft are asked to contact Sgt. Brad Hurst of the sheriff’s office criminal investigation division.
